Book Swap
Now launched at Peppercorns of Anstey! Customers are invited to come to Peppercorns with a book they have finished reading,
then browse our bookcase (stacked full of fact & fiction for adults & children) and take away a book to read.
Once completed customers can then return to any Peppercorns and take a new book.
Everyone is encouraged to review the book on the Peppercorns Facebook page and the book's journey is tracked through a label in the inside cover.
Creative Cafe
On the first and third Thursday of every month Peppercorns of Barrow holds a Creative Cafe (next meeting after Easter owing to organiser's pregnancy)
From 7.30pm-9.30pm.
For £4, which includes a free regular hot drink & cake, anyone over the age of 14 is welcome to come along with their unfinished craft projects
- knitting, card making, painting, scrap-booking, drawing, etc
Meet new people, and learn from others’ creative skills.
Just turn up on the night – all welcome.
